St. Patrick’s Day, Popcorn, and Easter
This is a late post because March has been very busy with the first step of what we hope will be a major house remodeling project.
Between St. Patrick’s Day
We had the cottage cheese popcorn removed from the ceilings throughout the entire house.
This is a picture of two of the rooms covered in plastic in preparation.
Here is the ceiling with the popcorn removed down to the bare sheet rock and a textured knockdown is being applied.
Finally the new ceilings are painted.
It took ALOT of moving stuff and three long days and ALOT of cleaning in spite of the plastic. The plaster stunk to high heaven so the first night was pretty uncomfortable, but the painting went smoothly even though it took 1/2 day longer than first anticipated and the end result was well worth the hassle.
Now for the big question: can we really survive two months of bathroom remodeling?
